I introduce myself

I offer...

  • to contribute to folk concerts, accompany folk dance groups. I also play music at exhibitions, funerals and weddings.
  • to develop the singing technique of dance groups using a special method.
  • to teach singing, playing the violin, double-bass, jew's harp, and gardon (Hungarian folk instrument), djembe, conga.

My musical past...

I began folk dancing in 1977, but there were few musicians, so it was a luck that I went to music school. I was inspired to get abroad - as a musician. From 1988 to 1994 I played the violin in the Kolompos folk band. In 1988 I obtained the certificate to teach arts. Later I got the Young Master of Folk Art title, and some years ago, the Golden Peacock prize. I was wandering in Transsylvania a lot to collect original folk music.
